Show Me The Honey!

We are buzzing with excitement over our latest Knit Lits Book Club!

Our new Knit Lits project is the Save The Bees Shawl, a three-color asymmetrical triangle highlighting three different stitch motifs, including a clever bee shaped lace panel. Tutorials are available and we will provide guidance through the quarter for those who need it.

But we're most excited about our STB kits, featuring 3 skeins of shop-favorite Emma's Yarn Practically Perfect Sock in pollinator garden-inspired palettes that include an Emma's Yarn color exclusive to Unwind--Show Me The Honey!

The honey bee is the state insect of Missouri, it seemed only fitting that our Save The Bees Shawl kits include a beautiful creamy speckle reminiscent of a buzzing pastoral meadow in the Show Me State!

Save The Bees Shawl Kits are available here and include a themed goody bag, a Love + Leche Honey Bee Lip Balm, and 3 skeins of Practically Perfect Sock, 2 ply fingering weight, 400 yds/100 g. The Save The Bees Shawl pattern is sold separately on Ravelry here.

Need a Knit Lits Swag Bag to hold your project? Get them here! (Swag bags aren't required to join the club but why wouldn't ya?!)

And speaking of book club, this quarter's book is Music of Bees, by Eileen Garvin, a national bestseller and a former Good Morning American BUZZ PICK (no pun intended!) From the book jacket:

Three lonely strangers in a rural Oregon town, each working through grief and life's curveballs, are brought together by happenstance on a local honeybee farm where they find surprising friendship, healing--and maybe even a second chance--just when they least expect it.

The book is available at your local library or you can purchase from your favorite independent bookseller; the Audible version is available here.

Save The Bees Knit Lits begins September 1st and runs through November. We'll have periodic gatherings in person and virtually via Zoom to check in on everyone's progress, share WIPs, and answer questions before the wrap party on November 17th. So get your book, grab your kit, and Save The Bees with us this fall!
