Take your crochet skills to the next level and make a garment, the Blossom Vest by Jessica Tsung, part of Laine's Let's Crochet! In this five session series you'll build your skills and have a beautiful wardrobe staple when you're done. 

This is an intermediate level class that will focus on granny square variations, magic loop, elements of garment construction and pattern reading. Materials sold separately, including appropriate quantities of mYak Baby Yak Lace for the chosen size; size C hook, 1.25 cm buttons in the number shown for size; and Laine's Let's Crochet, available separately here.

Yarn should be hand wound into balls. 

Session 1: gauge swatch and Granny Squares construction

Session 2: left side (left center front p 149 through left side body front (pgs 150-151)

Session 3: left side body back (p 151) through left center back (p 152)

Session 4:  right side, (p152 -153)

Session 5: finishing and blocking

Please note this is not a beginner class; students must already know crochet basics. Class limited to 7 students.

Monique will help you learn this popular advanced crochet technique to create garments and accessories that mimic the look of knitted fabric. We'll work from Toni Lipsey's The Tunisian Crochet Handbook, available separately here to create the Juvie Chevron Cowl. All other materials also sold separately.
