Welcome to the kick-off session for the Cardi Club with Carrie Turner! We will be making the Step-by-Step Cardigan by Florence Miller. The starter session is your ticket to join in the cardi making fun!
In this session you will work on using your swatch to determine the correct size for your perfect fit. Carrie will also lead you through technique lessons to prepare you for success in making this garment. This is a one time class, it is not a class that will take you from start to finish on your garment.
Carrie will host a masterclass session on Sunday, March 22nd from 5-7:30p for a deep dive into how yarn choice and gauge affects knitted fabric, and to explore the various fiber combinations possible for the Step-by-Step Cardigan. The session will also include a special fit session to address individual fit needs.
Details about the The Cardi Club:
- Includes a Fabric-Gauge-Fit Masterclass - March 22nd, 5-7:30p; $50 for the session
- The group will informally meet for social knitting at Unwind on Fridays from 3-5p, no additional charge.
- The Cardi Club will be working on the Step-by-Step Cardigan by Handmade by Florence, available on Ravelry here as a “pay-what-you-can” pattern.
