Make your first sweater with the guidance of Unwind’s amazing knitting teacher, Carrie Turner!

We will be making the Lento, (pattern sold separately), a simple top down, in the round, raglan sleeve sweater. The original pattern is a cropped version, however, it comes in a wide range of sizes and is easily customizable for length and fit. It is also a versatile sweater to explore with various fiber weights from aran or worsted weight yarn held single, other lighter yarns that can be held double. This makes it an ideal sweater to explore different fibers, textures, and color palettes.

Seems daunting? No worries! We will guide you step by step in all your decision making to ensure that your finished garment not only fits will but will be something you will love for years to come. You will leave this class with confidence and pride!

The class can be purchased as a complete package or join us for specific classes of interest a la carte.

Sun. Oct. 27: how to understand your pattern; working with your gauge; casting on and joining in the round; provisional cast-ons versus regular

Sun. Nov. 10: how to make your sweater fit (continued from previous week); dividing for sleeves

Sun. Nov. 17: working the body; fit checks; modifications

Sun. Nov. 24: all things sleeves

Sun. Dec. 8: finishing techniques; how to block your garment

Sun. Dec. 15: Ravelry 101
