Time again for one of our favorite seasonal boxes--Lavender Lune's Halloween box! This year's theme is
Summerween!
From Sam at Lavender Lune--In the middle of last summer I found myself wanting to watch all the spooky/creepy/horror movies. After listening to one of my favorite podcasts, Morbid, I learned I was not the only one feeling this way and there was actually a word for it....Summerween!...Each mini will represent a summer themed scary/horror movie.
Here are the details....
Choose from either fingering weight or DK weight yarn; the fingering weight has a bit of bronze stellina giving it a very subtle--shall we say haunting--sparkle. The DK weight base is a yak blend, making for a gray toned yarn. So moody and soft!
There will be thirteen 20g minis and 1 full skein, each themed around a spooky movie, and each will be individually labeled and wrapped to open as you choose.
Sam--I envision myself opening the full skein to start my pattern and then every few days grabbing one of the minis and opening that. Once I see what movie is represented I will get comfy with my knitting and watch it.
