The holiday season is approaching, and what better way to spread cheer than by making personalized holiday cards! Join us for a fun and creative artsy card-making session. Whether you want to design cards for friends, family, or those in need, this is a wonderful opportunity to share joy and release your artistic talents.

This 3 hour class, lead by local collage artist (and Unwind Friend) Peggy Newham, will walk you through the process of creating the card design of your choice using painted papers, book pages, stamps, stencils, tearing, fussing cutting, gluing, and embellishment.

Cards will be flat 5x7 cards double mounted on white and brown-craft card stock.

Dates:

Tuesday 12/2 - 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Saturday 12/6 - 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Sunday 12/7 - 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Wednesday 12/10 - 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Location: Unwind Fiber Arts, 217 SE Main St., Lee’s Summit, MO 64063

Maximum class size: 8
Minimum: 4
Minimum age: 13 accompanied by a participating adult

Materials: Peggy will provide all painted papers, book pages, stencils, paints, stamps, inks, and embellishing pens.

You will need to bring:

Scissors
A glue stick
Double-sided tape
5 sheets each of white and brown-craft card stock

If you don’t want to bring card-stocks, glue and tape, you have the option to purchase:

A packet of pre-cut card-stocks that also includes brown-craft envelopes (enough for five flat cards) for $5.00; PLEASE ADD TO YOUR ORDER NOW IF CHOOSING THIS OPTION

BEAUTIFUL NEW SHOP!!

The shop at the other location was wonderful but lacked natural light and felt a little enclosed (sorry ladies), but the new location is AMAZING. Same great yarns and supplies, same wonderful talented women assisting with questions and classes, but the natural light and the extra room have made the experience a delight. It's a bonus that you're just a few doors down from the Whistle Stop Coffee shop! If your a crafter you need to schedule time to spend in this shop!
