Amy from the Unwind Staff will provide six hours of instruction to help you learn everything you need to know to Knit All The Things. If you are a crocheter who's been knitting-curious, this is the class for you! Includes a Learn to Knit materials kit.

Learn to Crochet: (all three sessions)

Unwind's Master Crochet teacher, Cynthia, will help you add this hot hot hobby to your making repertoire. And if you are a knitter who doesn’t crochet, it's time to change that, it’s truly ALL THE RAGE right now! Taught over three 2 hour sessions, students will learn chain stitch, single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet while making several small projects: a mug rug and a washcloth. Includes a Learn to Crochet materials kit. 

Teens & Tweens Next Step Crochet

Do you have a Teen or Tween who's learned crochet basics on YouTube, and is now ready to level up their game? This is the class for them! Master Crochet Teacher Cynthia will teach crochet increases, decreases, seaming, and how to create wearable projects. Recommended for ages 10-18, with basic knowledge of crochet. Not a beginner class.

Big & Little Crochet--Adult/Child Class

Got a child in your life who really wants to learn to crochet but you don’t know where to start?  This adult/child team class is for you both! This 3 week series will teach you the basics of crochet, from how to hold your yarn to how to actually make something useful. 

Class is designed for ages 10 and up. If your child is younger, please contact the shop and speak with Cynthia, Unwind's Master Crochet Teacher. 

Class size limited to 3 student pairs (6 total students); registration fee includes instruction and Learn to Crochet materials kit for each pair.

Slow Stitching: Friday, February 13th, 11am-1pm

Fridays are for slowing down--kick start the process with Cynthia through this series of slow stitching workshops!

We'll start on February 13th with Wattle & Loop Slow Stitching Kits. Each Wattle & Loop Kit combines a carefully curated selection of these beautiful textiles, along with some Liberty of London fabric, DMC cotton threads & an embroidery needle. By combining the beautiful textile pieces with slow-stitching & appliqué you can make a truly beautiful textile collage of your own that is completely unique; while they are similar, no two kits contain exactly the same pieces of fabric. 

Class size limited to 10; registration fee includes your choice of in-stock Wattle & Loop Slow Stitching Kit.

Small Circumference Knitting (coming soon):

Unwind Staff will provide four hours of instruction to help you knit small circumference items--think hats, sleeves, and socks. You will explore the various methods of small circumference knitting--DPNs, magic loop, Flexi Flips, short circs--so you can choose the method that works best for your. This class is a prerequisite for Learn to Knit Socks for those unfamiliar with knitting in the round.

Learn to Knit Socks (coming soon): 

Unwind Staff will provide six hours of instruction to help you make beautiful socks. Must know knitting basics and be comfortable with knitting in the round. Small Circumference Knitting class is a prerequisite for those unfamiliar with knitting in the round. Project yarn and needles purchased separately.

Unless otherwise noted, all classes are in person at Unwind Fiber Arts, limited to 5 persons, and all supplies are sold separately.
