Lento Sweater Class

I just completed the Lento Sweater Class with Carrie. First, she is a wonderful, engaging, and compassionate teacher. She gave us so much individual attention, met us during off-hours, responded to texts, and made sure each participant loved the end product as well as the process along the way. Carrie's knowledge of technique, yarns, tips, tricks, etc., was so far reaching. I will DEFINITELY take another class from Carrie! Thank you for your time and talent!

Beginning spinning

She gave us lots of information and explanation. Thanks. I could really use a continuing experience with practice and help. Unfortunately, I cannot do much until the middle of July, but hope to come by some after that. Is it possible to have a day or days and times to share learning/practicing. Let me know.

Learning to knit classes

Decided to bite the bullet and learn how to knit. (Long time crocheter here). Tammy is an excellent teacher. There were 4 students in the class, which was a perfect size as we all got some one on one help. The first week is learning how to cast on and the basic knit/purl stitch. We were sent home to practice and then came back the next week to learn about the different mistakes, how to fix them and how to finish our projects. I’d highly recommend this class! I’m confident enough in what I learned that I’m now knitting a scarf.

This is a special place full of kind people and beautiful yarns!

Starting with the owner Tammy, and also her staff, this is a space for sweet people to literally ‘unwind’. If you are anything like me, you will be captivated from the moment you enter this very special shop.
