The "I'd Rather Dot..." sock and cowl patterns by Laura Dobratz are laid back easy projects for when you'd rather just knit the day away!
Worked from the top down utilizing simple slipped stitches the “I’d Rather Dot” sock is the perfect relaxing pattern; the "I'd Rather Dot" cowl is a bandana style knit in the round from the top down. One kit will make either the socks or the cowl.
Kits include--
- MC: 1 skein of Emma’s Yarn Practically Perfect Sock or 300-400 yards of fingering weight yarn
- CC(s): 2 skeins of Emma’s Yarn Practically Perfect Smalls or 120 yards of fingering weight yarn

Needles & Notions (sold separately):
- US 1.5 (2.50mm) for your preferred method of knitting in the round, or size required for gauge.
- Darning needle
- Stitch markers
Sock Gauge: 10 sts and 11 rows per 1 inch, in pattern, unblocked.
Sizes:
- Child (sm/med adult, lg adult)
- Measurements/ circumference: 6 (7 , 8) inches
For correct sizing measure around the ball of your foot and knit the size that is 1/2 to 1 inch smaller than your actual measurement. To customize the pattern, cast on in multiples of 2.

Needles and Notions (sold separately):
- US size 4, 16 inch circular needle, or needle required for gauge.
- Darning needle.
- 3 stitch markers (I like to have 1 unique for the BOR)
Gauge: 5.5 st and 8.25 rows = 1 inch, in pattern.
Finished Measurements:
19 in wide and 9 in long
