Marinera (the Spanish word for a female sailor) is inspired by the timeless simplicity of nautical stripes and summer light. Worked seamlessly from the top down, the back and fronts are knitted flat from the shoulders to the underarms before joining to work the body in the round. The construction makes it easy to try on as you go and customize the length to suit your style.
Our kits feature comfy, soft, and breathable Blue Sky Organic Cotton Sport in a classic white (Tulip) and deep blue (Indigo) combination. A 2-ply, sport weight yarn spun with 100% organic cotton, BS Organic Cotton Sport is ideal for all seasons, with a matte finish & a comfortable, brushed feel.

Needles: US 2½ (3 mm) and 2 (2.75 mm) circular needles, 32” (80 cm) long.
Other notions: Stitch markers, stitch holders, tapestry needle, blocking aids.
GAUGE
24 sts and 34 rows to 4” (10cm) in Stockinette stitch on US 2½ (3 mm) needles, after blocking.
SIZES
1 (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10). Shown in size 3 on a 36” (90 cm) bust. Recommended ease: 2-4” (5-10 cm) of negative ease.
