I can only compare them to the ones I was using in the context of what I was using them for. Sock knitting.
The karbonz have a longer, sharper tip. The sharper more slender tip is deeply appreciated in trying to make my first socks!
The cost takes my breath away but I plan to do a lot of sock knitting in the future so I paid it.
