Wool and silk provide thermal regulation, while linen adds even more breathability.
50% wool means that it has plenty of bounce back and knits up nearly like a full wool yarn, while still maintaining its summer yarn qualities with silk and linen.
This yarn is fingering weight, but has plenty of "bloom."
22.5 micron count Merino makes it next to skin friendly for summer garments, accessories, blankets, and baby knits alike.
The silk and linen take up the dye differently from the Merino, creating a slightly heathered appearance and a lot of depth when the fabric is worked up.
Slubs of silk add a pop of sheen to the finished fabric.
